Venthood and Microhood both have a five-year shelf-life. For Venthood, the expiration date is printed on the label of the canister; for Microhood, the expiration date is located on the underside of the plastic housing (pictures coming soon).
0813G is an example expiration date. 08 is the month (August), 13 is the year (2013), and G is for our reference only and can be ignored.
Therefore, in this example, you would need to replace StoveTop FireStop on or before August 2013.
